Don’t be nervous! If you are worried about how well it’s written, just let Joe know after you’ve uploaded the article, so he’ll know to do a thorough proofreading job. BUT chances are your article is just fine and you’re making yourself anxious for no reason. I did the same thing when I first started writing for online websites, using my actual name instead of ghostwriting. You’ll get over it nerves after a few posts.

I’m not writing for GeekSmash at the moment, but I hope Joe will have me back in a few months once my schedule has settled down!

Totally relate, the amounts of times I’ve been asked to ‘back off’ for having in depth conversations about games, films and series is unreal! I actually sometimes feel offended, and as normal around ‘alpha’ women, cast out.

I have 1 female friend in total, who isn’t a nerd, she is a gem, but I sometimes I wish I could invite a girl friend over to have a bicker about how we never get console time, cause of the fellas, while LANing up and play Warcraftt lll , or munching and fantasising about The Doctor lol.

Great post! Appreciate your candidness and transparency. I can relate to this on so many levels having been on the merry-go-round of diagnoses and prescriptions. It’s amazing how complex the mind is. I don’t believe there is a “one pill solves all” when it comes to mental illness/psychology. Being aware of you though is key to a healthy mind and body.
